Course Overview

Introduces participants to the litigation process from the commencement of a writ action to enforcement of judgment. It also covers the substantive legal principles underlying civil procedures and includes hands-on training in the drafting of court documents.

 

 

Objectives

 

This course aims to give learners a working understanding of the entire civil litigation process and procedure from the start of legal proceedings to the enforcement of Judgments.

 

Application/Entry Requirement

Applicants applying for modular units which are drawn from existing full diploma or post-diploma programmes will have the same minimum entry requirements as the full qualifications.

Modes of Assessment

 

Coursework 100%.

 

 

Certification

 

Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded a Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Diploma in Legal Executive Studies.
