Does your job require a good basic knowledge of handling electrical works as well as workplace safety based on SS 638?

This 3-day course which covers the theory and practical skills will equip you with the knowledge and skills to undertake electrical installations and service in commercial buildings. You will also learn about the fundamental integration of Renewable Energy (Solar PV) and Battery Energy Storage.

Ms. Toh Lee Nah
Temasek Polytechnic

Ms. Toh Lee Nah holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, she has earned an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education.

Ms Toh is a highly experienced lecturer in Diploma in Integrated Facility Management at the School of Engineering, Temasek Polytechnic. She has extensive experiences in Semiconductor Reliability and Failure Analysis, Electrical Testing and Electrical Systems. Her academic experience spans semiconductor testing and failure analysis, electrical installation and services, electrical circuits and systems. She teaches full-time PET students on Project Management, Circuit Analysis, Electrical Systems, Electrical Facilities and Services, Fuel Cells and Battery Storage Systems.

In addition to her work with full-time students, Ms Toh has a strong record of teaching in the CET Specialist Diploma courses, CET short courses and Customised Short Courses for various industry partners, including JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated), Changi Airport Group, semiconductor companies, etc. Her diverse teaching portfolio and industry collaborations highlight her commitment to providing practical and relevant education to her students.

Mr Efren L. Balajadia
Temasek Polytechnic

Mr. Efren L. Balajadia holds a master’s in engineering. He is the Course Chairman of the Diploma in Clean Energy and the HEAD of Integrative Built Environment Centre at Temasek Polytechnic Singapore. He has more than 20 years of coaching experience as a trainer and facilitator in a full-time diploma and customized technical courses in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Balajadia is a Professional Electrical Engineer in the Philippines and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) , CAAS SAR147 M5 certified, and WSQ certified in Solar Photovoltaic Design, Installation and PV Maintenance System. He was the Principal Investigators for several industrial collaboration projects with companies such as Panasonic System Solutions Asia Pacific and Heatcraft Refrigeration Asia Pte Ltd. Former member of Technical Working Group of WorldSkills Singapore in Mobile Robotics and Industrial Automation Control. A member of Assessment & Quality Assurance Committee (Solar) of The Institute of Engineers in Singapore (IES). Efren is the CET short course trainer in the Grid-Connect Solar Photovoltaic System with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in collaboration with NARADA Pte. Ltd. In charge of setting up the Battery Storage in TP and installed several Off-Grid PV Systems with Battery Storage in different countries for TP Overseas Community Projects.

Er. Chan Heng Lim’s Profile

Er. Chan Heng Lim brings close to 40 years of experience in electrical power systems, control, and building services engineering, with deep involvement across project planning, design, and implementation stages. As a Qualified Person (QP) and Licensed Electrical Engineer (LEW), he has led efforts in ensuring compliance, safety, and reliability in complex building systems. His work spans infrastructure, healthcare, institutional, commercial, and residential developments.
