Course Overview

Jump-Start: Applying Behavioural Insights to the Workplace is a new approach to personalized learning, catering to professionals who wish to apply concepts in behavioural sciences to improve the design and implementation of policies or business strategies through influencing and nudging behaviours. This 24-hour programme is a combination of 16 hours of instructions (i.e., how people behave and think +  practical ways to apply behavioural insights) and 8 hours of project implementation (i.e., developing a work plan for applying behavioural insights under the mentoring of an experienced BI practitioner).

This intermediate course provides the necessary knowledge and skillset for participants to apply Behavioural Insights (BI) to their workplace. Participants will build on knowledge gained from the previous “Introduction to Behavioural Insights” workshop and learn additional skills based on the Understand-Solve-Evaluate (USE) framework that will allow them to apply a BI initiative within their organization under the mentoring of an experienced BI practitioner.

The course is designed to help equip participants with the necessary skillsets on how to apply different skills from the Understand-Solve-Evaluate (USE) framework to allow them to initiate and implement a BI initiative within their organization under the mentoring of an experienced BI practitioner. Upon completion of this course, it is hoped that the participant will also have the required experience and skillsets to independently helm BI initiatives within their organizations in the future.
