Dr Linda William
Senior Scientist at the School of Informatics & IT and Co-Chair of the Enabling Technology Cluster, Temasek Polytechnic
Since joining the institution in 2019, she has been actively involved in teaching, research, and driving innovation in emerging technologies. She is also an active committee member for AI Ethics and Governance Chapter, Singapore Computer Society.
Dr. William earned her PhD from Singapore Management University and holds a Senior Professional Certificate in AI Ethics and Governance, as well as a Professional Certificate in Responsible Generative AI Governance. These qualifications reflect her strong commitment to advancing responsible and ethical AI practices. She teaches both young adult and adult learners across a wide range of subjects, including Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, and Responsible AI.
Dr. William has led several impactful research initiatives, most notably the development of the Smart Serious Game Analytics Engine, which was recognised with the Innergy Silver Award 2022 by Singapore’s Ministry of Education. Her research interests span Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, AI Ethics, and the use of Serious Games for education and training.
With over 30 years of experience in AI and related disciplines, Dr. William has also held prior engagements with leading institutions and industry partners such as the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and the SAP Innovation Centre.
