Course Overview
Do you enjoy solving problems and making systems run more efficiently? This programme equips you with the latest skills in cloud automation and DevOps to strengthen your career resilience and position yourself as the go-to expert for back-end operations and automation. Over three months of full-time, hands-on training, you’ll gain the technical expertise and practical experience to launch your career in cloud and DevOps, supported by job placement assistance after graduation.
As a Cloud Support & DevOps professional, you’ll use coding and automation tools to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting issues, optimising performance, and ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams while staying ahead of emerging cloud technologies.
Upon completing the programme, you’ll be ready to apply for entry-level positions such as Cloud Support Associate, DevOps Technician, Cloud Operations Engineer, or Junior Site Reliability Engineer. In these roles, you’ll work on deploying and managing cloud infrastructure, automating workflows, monitoring system performance, and resolving technical problems.
Most graduates begin in junior roles, where they gain valuable hands-on experience in real-world environments. Over time, you can advance into senior positions in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure architecture, expanding your impact and expertise in the rapidly evolving cloud industry.
You’ll learn relevant behavioural, mindset and technical skills through a comprehensive instructor-facilitated training bootcamp that integrates real industry scenarios with hands-on projects and case studies.
After completing the programme, you will be able to undertake the following responsibilities:
- Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on cloud platforms
- Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
- Provision, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure defined as code
- Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems
- Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
- Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of cloud infrastructure and systems
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for code build and deployment
Technical Skills
You’ll develop key technical skills through hands-on, interactive sessions. By the end of the programme, you’ll be proficient in:
