Singapore Bus Tech Grand Challenge

Five students from the Diploma in Aerospace Engineering clinched the Bronze award with their invention of a wireless system to test the air-conditioning of a bus, using wireless probes hung at various points inside the bus to detect the temperature and send the data, via WIFI, to a base station that generates analysis reports.  This wireless system reduces testing time by up to 70%.

The competition was jointly organised by the Singapore Bus Academy and the Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) in 2022.
