Is it compulsory for me to submit the Tuition Grant (TG) form in the enrolment package?
  1. Yes, it is compulsory for all full time diploma Singapore Citizen (SC) students/ Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) or International Student (IS) who wish to apply for TG to complete the TG submission for Finance package.

    Please refer to question “How do I fill in submit the TG form if I wish to apply for TG?” on online form submission.

  2. For International Student (IS), if you do not submit the TG forms by 15 April 2024, it is deemed that you decided not to apply for TG.

    Please note:
    If you decide to apply for TG:
    > You must submit an on-line application for TG scheme at the MOE’s website;
    You must complete the execution of the TG Agreement with MOE by the stipulated deadline before you are granted TG; and in the TG Agreement, you will be required to work for a Singapore entity for three years upon graduation.
    > SPR and International students who are awarded TG and withdraw from their course without graduating are liable for Liquidated Damages for the TG received for their course of study. Students are strongly advised to consider the implications, especially financial implications, before early withdrawal from their course.

For SPR student, please read and follow the instructions on the Tuition Grant Declaration/Option Form carefully. If you are not eligible or do not wish to apply for TG, please declare accordingly in the form.

For International Student, if you do not wish to apply for TG, you need not submit the TG Option form.

Students whose Tuition Grant Declaration/Option form is not received by 15 April 2024 will be deemed to have decided not to apply for TG.

If you do not wish to apply for TG or are not eligible for TG, you are to pay non-subsidised fees.

If I do not apply for TG in this semester, can I apply for TG in the subsequent semester?

Students who rejected TG during enrolment or failed to complete the TGA signing during their enrolment semester are required to appeal for TG if he/she choose to take up TG in subsequent semester/years, where it is still subject to MOE’s approval.

Please note that even if you appeal for TG in subsequent semester/years, you are still required to work for a Singapore entity for three years upon graduation.
