Is it compulsory for me to submit the Tuition Grant (TG) form in the enrolment package?

Yes, it is mandatory for all full-time Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) and international students to complete the Tuition Grant Option Form as required by the Ministry of Education (MOE), by 16 October 2026.

If you choose to apply for the Tuition Grant (TG):

  • You are required to submit an online application through the MOE website.
  • You must execute the TG Agreement with MOE by the stipulated deadline before the TG can be granted. Under the TG Agreement, you will be required to work for a Singapore entity for three years upon graduation.
  • SPRs and international students who are awarded the TG but subsequently withdraw from their course without graduating will be liable for Liquidated Damages for the TG received. Students are advised to carefully consider the implications, particularly the financial consequences, before deciding to withdraw from their course.

If you are not eligible for or do not wish to apply for the Tuition Grant (TG), you are required to complete the Tuition Grant Option Form by 16 October 2026 by selecting the option “Do not wish to apply for Tuition Grant”.

If you do not wish to apply for TG or are not eligible for TG, you are to pay non-subsidised fees.

Students who rejected TG during enrolment or failed to complete the TGA signing during their enrolment semester are required to appeal for TG if he/she choose to take up TG in subsequent semester/years, where it is still subject to MOE’s approval.

Please note that even if you appeal for TG in subsequent semester/years, you are still required to work for a Singapore entity for three years upon graduation.
