Cassandra Yip Ai Lin, a Biotechnology student and an NYAA Gold Award recipient in 2018 has been selected by the NYAA Council to represent Singapore at the International Swiss Talent Forum from 6 to 9 February 2019.

The International Swiss Talent Forum (ISTF) is a politically independent think-tank for talented young adults aged 18 to 23 years old who have interest in and are committed to addressing the universal and long-term challenges and issues of our time.

The ISTF was launched in 2009 by the Foundation Swiss Youth in Science. Each year, in February, the foundation will invite highly talented young people from more than 20 countries to Switzerland to engage and have dialogues with thought leaders, decision-makers and leaders of industry on the theme of the year.

By providing young leaders the opportunity to work alongside experts and lateral-thinkers from all over the world, the ISTF hopes to create space for innovation and seek to develop solutions for globally significant challenges and issues.

The 8th International Swiss Talent Forum will be held in Nottwil, Switzerland from 6 to 9 February 2019 and the theme for 2019 is “Artificial Intelligence”.
