Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, Second Minister for the Ministry of Education Officiates at Opening Session

Monday, 3 May 2021 at 9.15 am @ Temasek Convention Centre

A total of 6203 students will graduate from 47 full-time diploma courses and 42 part-time courses over 35 sessions, from 3 to 11 May 2021. The sessions will be livestreamed, so that family and friends from far and wide, can be part of this joyous celebration.

The opening session will see Minister Maliki addressing the graduates from the full-time Diplomas in Big Data Management & Governance, Cyber & Digital Security and Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics. He will also present the polytechnic-level awards i.e. the Lee Kuan Yew Award, the Lee Kong Chian Award, the Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal, the CapitaLand Award for All-Round Excellence, and the Ngee Ann Kongsi Most Outstanding Overcomer Award.

Skills Mastery Award

Mr Lee Kok Choy, Chairman, TP’s Board of Governors, will present the Skills Mastery Award which recognises students who have demonstrated strong mastery of course-specific skills through their achievements in competitions (e.g. WorldSkills International), research, projects, and/or presentations at conferences or symposiums. The Skills Mastery Award also serves to promote and recognise the mastery of skills amongst our students in line with the national-level SkillsFuture initiative. A total of 13 Skills Mastery Awards will be given out this year.

Receiving the Temasek Polytechnic-Singapore Computer Society Skills Mastery Award are Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics students:

Partner-in-Education Award

Minister Maliki will also be presenting the Partner-in-Education Award to five of TP’s industry partners. The award recognises and appreciates industry partners who have contributed to the development and growth of TP, and recognises the important role that industry plays in contributing to the learning experience and promotion of SkillsFuture to our students.
