John Lim, Temasek Polytechnic’s (TP) deputy director of student support and career services, says many employers view such work attachments as a pipeline for talent acquisition. He said that if a student displays proficiency and seamlessly integrates into the organisation culture during the internship, the likelihood of the student receiving a job offer upon completing his or her studies significantly increases.
