Three students from Temasek Polytechnic namely Leck Jing Ping  Jesmond, Sheila Lim Yann Tsern and Melvin Ng Wei Xiang won the Lee Hsien Loong Interactive Digital Media Smart Nation Award for a sensor that can analyze kidney function in half a second. The three students hope that In the future, the detector will enable patients to detect chronic kidney disease at an early stage and receive timely treatment.
