82-year-old security guard Xu Jing Wei (transliterated) was awarded the "Best Security Award" this year by the Security Association Singapore (SAS) for his dedication and perseverance in handling crises during his three years in the security sector. At the same time, a total of 767 awards were given out during the Security Officers’ Day Awards on 24 Jul, collaboratively organized by SAS and Temasek Polytechnic Security Industry Institute at the Temasek Polytechnic lecture hall.
