Module Overview

Do you ever make decisions which lead to being unprepared for exams, overspending or overeating? This module equips students to make better decisions in everyday situations through behavioural insights. Students will gain an understanding of the decision making process and look at case studies where biases may lead them to making poor decisions and less optimal outcomes. Students will have hands-on practice in designing solutions to change behaviour, by making small changes to the environment which overcome biases. Students will also get a chance to visit locations around the campus to identify behavioural insights used.

This module will be conducted within a duration of 22.5 hours.
