Interactive Gait Correction & Rehabilitation System
This is Singapore's first kinetic game system to help spastic children learn to walk, developed in collaboration with the Spastic Children’s Association of Singapore. Users stand in front of a screen equipped with a Kinect camera, which is able to detect their movement and whether they are walking upright as they walk. As part of the game, users have to catch objects moving on the screen, thereby testing their dexterity and flexibility. Results are then captured and analysed for the physiotherapists.
