Course Overview

This is a 12-month programme for Aerospace professionals. It includes a 2-month WSQ Higher Certificate in Aerospace course and a 10-month structured on-the-job-training stint. The programme will equip you with relevant skillsets and knowledge needed to support the aerospace industry. 

 

Academic Progression


Upon successful completion of this programme, participants who are ITE graduates may consider taking up the part-time Diploma in Engineering (Aerospace) if they wish to progress academically.

Eligibility Criteria

 

Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents who are within three years of either graduation OR the Operationally Ready Date (ORD) for National Servicemen from the following full-time programmes.

 

The Sign-on Incentive is only applicable for Singapore Citizens.

What You'll Learn

The Aerospace WSQ is a holistic Continuing Education and Training (CET) framework for the training of aerospace technicians. The areas of training will be catered to the participating aerospace companies’ expertise.

Career Opportunities

Participants will join established aerospace companies as a Trainee Technician and progress through the programme to become a Qualified Technician².

 

Upon successful completion of this programme, participants may look forward to wage increment and role expansion in their workplace, subject to their work performance.

Please note that relevant documents will be forwarded to all participating companies for their selection.

 

Selection of applicants is at the discretion of the participating companies and participating companies will contact their shortlisted applicants for interview. Applicants have the right to reject the interview if they do not wish to be employed by the company who contacted them.

 

Only applicants who are successfully hired and placed on the Work-Study Certificate programme by the participating companies will be invited to submit an online application for the courses.

Course fees will be sponsored by company should candidates be placed under the Work-Study Certificate programme.
