Course Overview

This course will equip participants with introductory-level Japanese language skills such as pronunciation, greetings, self-introduction, expressing numbers, countries and nationalities.

Who Should Attend

Participants with no prior knowledge in the Japanese language and who are keen to learn the Japanese language at the introductory level.

What You'll Learn

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

 

  1. Pronounce Roomaji (Romanised) characters
  2. Express numbers in Japanese
  3. Communicate using basic Japanese greetings and expressions
  4. Give self-introduction in Japanese

 

 

Mode of Assessment

 

Quizzes – measure participants’ understanding of key concepts and application of concepts learnt for each topic

Certification

 

Participants will receive an electronic Certificate of Completion issued by Temasek Polytechnic upon completion of each MLC.
