Course Overview

This course teaches learners about Human-centred design (HCD) as a creative approach to problem-solving. This process ensures the product is based on human-centric design solutions to problems, and provides optimum user experiences, intuitive interaction as well as business benefits.

Human-centred design involves people right from the start and places them at the centre of the problem-solving design process. It focuses on people’s problems, goals, needs, thinking, emotions and behaviour to come up with effective solutions to those problems. It’s a ‘people first’ approach and a process mindset that designs products around people’s needs, motivations, and behaviours.
