Course Overview

As the officially recognised training provider appointed by the Animal & Veterinary Service (under the National Parks Board), this course is a mandatory requirement for individuals applying for a licence to operate a pet boarding facility. It is specifically designed for pet boarders and staff working in pet care facilities, providing them with the essential knowledge and practical skills to ensure regulatory compliance and high standards of animal welfare.

Due to content alignment, this course also includes the knowledge and skills covered in the Pet Care and Management (Companion Animals) course.

Participants who complete the 22-hour self-directed e-learning, attend the practical session at TP, and pass the written examination will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

 

The written examination comprises 15 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 3 short answer questions. A minimum passing score of 80% is required.
