Course Overview

This course introduces participants to Agentic AI, AI systems that can plan, reason, and perform tasks autonomously. Designed for learners who already understand the basics of Generative AI, the course focuses on practical, no-code ways to build AI-powered workflows that automate routine tasks and improve productivity. It is ideal for small business owners, freelancers, and team leaders looking to work smarter with AI.

Entry Requirements

Participants should have completed a Gen AI introductory course or have equivalent working experience with Gen AI tools. Basic familiarity with tools such as Claude will be useful.
Participants are required to bring their own device - a laptop with internet access. Claude Pro subscription, Claude Desktop app and Claude in Chrome are required for the course.

Who Should Attend

Working adults aged 50 and above, including those re-entering the workforce, mid-career switchers, self-employed and mature workers seeking to upskill. Suitable for roles in administration, customer service, retail, healthcare support, and general office work.

What You'll Learn

Understand the key differences between Generative AI and Agentic AI.
Identify tasks and processes that can be automated using AI agents.
Build simple no-code AI workflows using tools such as Claude.
Automate activities such as email responses, scheduling, and customer enquiries.
Use AI agents to collect, organise, and manage information.
Evaluate the reliability, risks, and limitations of AI agents.
Apply appropriate human oversight when using automated AI systems.
Create at least one AI agent workflow for a work or business use case.

Certification

Participants who meet at least 75% of the required course attendance and passed the assessment will be awarded with Temasek Polytechnic’s Certificate of Completion.

Kor Lee Pern is currently a full-time lecturer in the School of Business at Temasek Polytechnic. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) from Nanyang Technological University and currently specialises in Accounting, AI, Analytics and Robotics Process Automation.
