WorldSkills Singapore 2025
Demonstrating their dexterity and programming prowess, a team of 4 Mechatronics students clinched the Bronze award in the prestigious WSS competition (Mechatronics category).
The WSS competition represents the pinnacle of vocational skills, where the best in Singapore compete in their respective trade categories every 2 years.

WorldSkills Lyon, France 2024
In the biennial WorldSkills World Finals, the winners from each country, representing the best in their respective trade categories, battle it out for top honours on the world stage.
In 2024, two Mechatronics students did Singapore proud by winning a Medallion for Excellence in the Mechatronics category at the WSS World Finals held in Lyon, France.

Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix
A team of Engineering students designed, constructed and raced their own fuel cell-powered racing car in the Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix 2024 – topping the Endurance, Energy Efficiency and Innovation categories, and clinching the overall Gold.
The team went on to represent Singapore in the World Finals held in Anaheim, California, USA, where they raced with the best from around the globe.

WorldSkills Singapore
Mechatronics students have done consistently well in the prestigious WorldSkills (WSS) competition over the years, testifying to their high technical competence.
In 2023, they took home one Gold and 2 Bronze awards in the Mechatronics and Mobile Robotics categories.

Shell Eco Marathon Race
Mechatronics students designed, programmed, built and raced their own fuel cell-powered car in the Shell Eco Marathon Race (Asia Pacific & Middle East) Regional competition held in Indonesia in July 2023. Combining both speed as well as fuel efficiency, they clinched the Gold and regional championship title, establishing themselves as the kingpins of fuel cell cars in the region.
