Is it compulsory for me to submit the Tuition Grant (TG) form in the enrolment package?
  1. Yes, it is compulsory for all full time diploma Singapore Citizen (SC) students/ Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) or International Student (IS) who wish to apply for TG to complete the TG submission.

    Please refer to question “How do I submit the TG form if I wish to apply for TG?” on online form submission.

  2. For International Student (IS), if you do not submit the TG forms by 15 April 2024, it is deemed that you decided not to apply for TG.

    Please note:
    If you decide to apply for TG:
    > You must submit an on-line application for TG scheme at the MOE’s website;
    You must complete the execution of the TG Agreement with MOE by the stipulated deadline before you are granted TG; and in the TG Agreement, you will be required to work for a Singapore entity for three years upon graduation.
    > SPR and International students who are awarded TG and withdraw from their course without graduating are liable for Liquidated Damages for the TG received for their course of study. Students are strongly advised to consider the implications, especially financial implications, before early withdrawal from their course.

  1. Singapore Citizen (SC) student must submit the Tuition Grant Declaration/Option Form to be granted TG, subject to the criteria of TG eligibility.

  2. Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) student who wish to apply for TG must submit the Tuition Grant Declaration/Option Form, subject to the criteria of TG eligibility.

    For Singapore Citizen (SC) and Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) student, please login using your Singpass to submit your Tuition Grant Declaration/Option Form and follow the instructions on the form.

  3. International Student (IS) who wish to apply for TG must submit the Tuition Grant Option form, subject to the criteria of TG eligibility.

    For International Student (IS), please submit the scanned copy of a duly completed Tuition Grant Option form to us
    here.

Will I be reminded on the scheduled dates for online application and execution of TG Agreement?

Will I be reminded on the scheduled dates for online application and execution of TG Agreement?

Yes, an email will be sent to your TP student email account to inform you of the scheduled dates for online TG application and execution of TG Agreement.

It is important to check your TP student email account frequently so that you do not miss any important email from the Polytechnic.

What will happen if I do not apply online or complete the execution of TG Agreement by the given deadline?

What will happen if I do not apply online or complete the execution of TG Agreement by the given deadline?

If you do not apply online or complete the execution of TG Agreement by the stipulated deadline given by MOE, it shall be deemed that you have decided not to apply TG and you will be charged non-subsidised fees for your course of study at the Polytechnic.
