What are my fees and when are they payable?

The Tuition Grant Scheme was introduced by the Government to help students with the costs of tertiary education in Singapore. Tuition Grant (inclusive of any GST subsidy) is granted to students on Tuition Grant Scheme.

There are 2 semesters in each Academic Year (AY). The billing periods for AY 2025/2026 are :

a. Semester 1 : from 21 April 2025 - 19 October 2025.
b. Semester 2 : from 21 October 2025 - 19 April 2026.

Fees are billed and payable by semester. They are usually payable in June for Semester 1 and December for Semester 2.

What are the fees payable if I do not apply or am not eligible for TG?

If you do not wish to apply for TG or are not eligible for TG, you are to pay full fees.

I have accepted the offer for a place in Temasek Polytechnic previously but have deferred my study for National Service (NS). I have completed my NS and will enrol to the Polytechnic in current academic semester, how much will I need to pay for my course fees?

I have accepted the offer for a place in Temasek Polytechnic previously but have deferred my study for National Service (NS). I have completed my NS and will enrol to the Polytechnic in current academic semester, how much will I need to pay for my course fees?

As you have served National Service and were offered a place previously, the Tuition Fee payable by you will be based on the rate applicable to the year of offer but Other Fees will be based on the rate for current semester.

Example
Year of offer : AY2022/2023 Semester 1
Enrolled year : AY2024/2025 Semester 1

The Tuition Fee payable by you will be the Tuition Fee rate applicable to AY2022/2023 Semester 1 but the Other Fees will be the Other Fees rate applicable to AY2024/2025 Semester 1.

How will my fees be affected if my citizenship changes before term start?

Fees are chargeable based on student's citizenship as at 1st day of the semester concerned as per the student record maintained by the Polytechnic. You have to inform the Polytechnic latest by the 1st day of the semester if there is a change of your citizenship.

There shall be no adjustment for difference of fees for current semester.
