Cathy is a reflective and innovative educator who inspires students to grow as capable biomedical engineers and socially responsible professionals. Her mentorship has enabled students to present their work on international and local platforms, including a Top 12 worldwide placement at the UNESCO World Engineering Day Hackathon, earning regional and global recognition while strengthening students’ confidence and professional purpose.

As NIEC’s Visual Arts Strategic Community Lead, he also mentors and supports fellow educators in strengthening their practice.
