Overview

 

The Library is open to current TP students, staff and members. A valid form of identification (student matriculation, staff or Library card) is required for entry into the Library and for borrowing library materials.

 

Individuals interested in using the Library’s facilities and materials may apply for one of the three External memberships – Alumni, Personal or Corporate membership. Details about borrowing privileges can be found here.

 

Please note:

 

  1. Due to vendor licensing agreements, access to the online resources is restricted to current TP students and staff only.
  2. The Library reserves the right to review loan privileges when necessary;
  3. Membership fee paid is non-refundable if membership is cancelled/withdrawn;
  4. Replacement cost of the library card is S$10.70 (inclusive of GST)
  5. The Library reserves the right to approve or reject applications and will not disclose the reason for any rejection.

Alumni Membership

 

Graduates of TP are eligible for the alumni membership.

 

  • Cost of alumni membership: S$42.80 (inclusive of GST) per annum*
  • Cost of card issuance (one-time fee): S$10.70 (inclusive of GST)

Corporate Membership

 

Commercial, industrial, professional or governmental organizations, and statutory boards may apply for Corporate membership. Each corporation or organization may nominate up to five employees.

 

Cost of corporate membership: S$214.00 (inclusive of GST) per member per annum.

 

Only nominated employees are accorded loan privileges. Membership cards are NOT transferable.

 

Corporate members are responsible for loans issued out under their names. However, if members default on payment of overdue charges or charges for lost item, the corporation/organisation will be held responsible for the outstanding charges.

Personal Membership

 

Students who are enrolled in open or distance learning degree programmes conducted in Singapore and working professionals may apply for Personal membership.

 

Cost of personal membership: S$214.00 (inclusive of GST) per annum

 

Subscription Period

 

Renewal should be undertaken early before the expiry date, as the renewed membership period will be for 12 months from the last expiry date. (For example, if membership expires on 30/04/2019 and is renewed on 03/05/2019, the renewed membership will expire on 30/04/2020.)

 

Membership fee paid is non-refundable if membership is cancelled/withdrawn for whatever reason.

Application & Renewal of Membership

Upon application approval, you will be notified to make payment.

 

Subscription fee can be paid by NETS, FlashPay, CashCard, or eNETS at the Library Loans Counter.

 

Payment can also be made through:

 

  • AXS website
  • AXS Payment app
  • AXS Station

 

Successful applicants will be notified to come by to the Library Loans counter to collect their membership card.
