a) Interdisciplinary Learning Journey to Changi Airport (Terminal 3)
 

This is an industry collaboration project with LDR Pte Ltd, which involved the designing and development of a mobile learning application that allows students to learn Mathematics lessons through outdoor activities and quizzes. Besides learning Mathematics, the students will also get to know the interesting facts of Singapore Changi Airport.

b) River Safari m-Trail

 

This is an industry collaboration project with VM Education Pte Ltd which aimed to design and develop an Android template application that will enable fast and easy creation and customisation of learning trails for different age groups. The template was applied on the River Safari Trail, and an application optimised for a 7” tablet was created.

c) Panaboard Chinese Learning Application

 

This is an industry collaboration project with Panasonic Systems Asia Pacific and PLAY@TP, which aimed to design and develop the teacher entry module for the Chinese Character Writing application as well as creation of puzzle-lessons using the Panasonic Eliteboard. Ideal for younger learners, it can be used to teach kindergarten children how to write Chinese characters.

  • Provides visual and graphic representation of Chinese characters

  • Allows children to learn the sequence of strokes in writing the characters

d) Interactive & Collaborative Fun Learning with Augmented Reality

 

Learn with Fun - School Garden Trail is a collaboration project with Xishan Primary School. Students learn science through fun and collaborative activities, and adventure. Using an iPad application, students identify plants through augmented reality, photo-taking, sharing and attempting quizzes in the garden. Students work collaboratively in the class with collected data and give constructive feedback among their work
