SBS Transit Ltd Simulation Project

Buses are usually delayed along Victoria Street, which is usually congested. This project, done in collaboration with SBS Transit Ltd, studied the possibility of combining some bus stops and introducing full day bus lanes along the road to increase the speed of buses plying that route. The project was simulated to forecast the time taken by passengers to board and alight given the new scenario. The results were analysed thereafter and recommendations made to SBS Transit.
