Course Overview

This hands-on workshop is designed to equip the participants with an awareness and understanding of the fundamentals of video analytics, its application to the security industry and its future trends. The workshop will also make reference to the principles in the Singapore Standards Council’s Technical Reference TR69: Video Analytics within Video Surveillance Systems. 

 

Upon completion of the workshop, the participants will have a better understanding on how video analytics could be used to enhance physical security standards in their organisations by providing 24/7 scene analysis and also explore the use of the security camera as a sensor for applications such as crowd understanding and people counting.

The participants will also have a basic hands-on training with Bosch’s security video cameras.
