Course Overview

The COVID-19 Multi Ministry Task Force announced the progressive easing of Circuit Breaker measures on 2nd May 2020. A set of requirements for Safe Management Measures (SMM) was issued and one of which is for companies to appoint Safe Management Officers (SMOs) to ensure that SMM are effectively implemented at the work premises.

Who Should Attend

This course is relevant for those who are appointed as SMOs, Safe Distancing officers and any person who is interested to perform Safe Management measures at his/her workplace.

Lecturer/Trainer Profile

Muhd Iskandar Idris

Mr Muhd Iskandar Idris is the Honorary Vice Chairman (ASIS International (Singapore Chapter). He began his career in law enforcement for 13 years before moving on to manage physical security at hotels. He is currently Safety and Security Manager, South East Asia in Ikano Pte Ltd (Ikea).

Previously, he led the security & safety team at National Gallery Singapore. He was part of the project development team which saw the transformation of two national monuments to the present National Gallery Singapore which is South East Asia's largest visual arts museum.

Iskandar is also a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) since 2016.
