Course Overview

This subject will cover various strategies, materials and products used in controlling access, the protection of sites and buildings and internal areas.

 

 

Objectives

 

This subject aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills to be able to advise on the range, selection, application and limitations of physical security means and measures for residential, commercial and high-risk installations and developments. The students should also be able to prepare a security concept plan report for protection of an important high-risk facility / installation.

Entry Requirements

Applicants applying for modular units which are drawn from existing full diploma or post-diploma programmes will have the same minimum entry requirements as the full qualifications.
