Course Overview

The subject aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge of effective security management through risk management; to enable them to assess security threats and prescribe security solutions.

 

 

Objectives

 

The subject will cover the security and the loss prevention process through security survey and risk management involving asset definition, threat assessment, vulnerability analysis and the optimisation of security measures.

Entry Requirements

Applicants applying for modular units which are drawn from existing full diploma or post-diploma programmes will have the same minimum entry requirements as the full qualifications.
