Ms Sharon Quek-Lee
Lecturer, School of Business

Sharon holds a Master of Business Administration (Merit) from the University of Manchester, Alliance Manchester Business School. She has also achieved a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration cum laude in the USA as a full-time student within a record time of less than 3 years.

Prior to TP, Sharon garnered more than 10 years of corporate work experience as a regional treasury analyst at American Express, a research strategist at Strategic Intelligence Inc. and a business analyst at Fortis Inc.. After managing marketing and operations of investment products and as an Associate Vice-President of a wealth management group, Sharon’s love for helping people and teaching eventually led her to become a business lecturer at TP.

Since 2006, Sharon has been a full-time lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Business teaching Economics, Business Environment, Financial Management and Marketing subjects. Over the years, her students, including working adults, have complimented on her approachability in class and her ability to teach well. 

Sharon has completed an industrial attachment stint with the UN Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS), which supports the Singapore chapter of the World Bank Group’s Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition (CPLC). She believes in preserving the earth’s environment for the well-being of our current and future generations and the need to focus on the preservation and sustainability in the use of scarce natural resources.
