In this workshop, you will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience to better support the nutritional needs of older adults. You will learn to:
- Understand the calorie and protein requirements of older adults
- Recognise how nutritional needs change with ageing
- Apply practical principles for planning balanced and nourishing meals
- Prepare a complete balanced meal suitable for seniors
- Cook high-protein snacks and desserts that are both nutritious and enjoyable
Through a combination of evidence-based nutrition guidance and hands-on cooking activities, you will develop practical skills to confidently plan and prepare meals that support healthy ageing.
Certification
Participants who meet at least 75% of the required course attendance will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance.
