Course Overview

Today’s digital world, technology is transforming how young children learn, providing many opportunities to spark curiosity and foster greater learning engagement. For Early Childhood professionals, this shift calls for the ability to design intentional and developmentally appropriate digital learning experiences to complement teaching and learning in the classroom.

This programme enables participants to explore current trends and practices in the use of educational technology in early childhood education. The programme introduces frameworks and e-Pedagogy principles as foundational models for incorporating technology meaningfully into teaching and learning.

Through demonstration and use case, participants will develop a simple educational technology tool which they can use in their classroom. This course takes into account ECDA's Code of Practice for Early Childhood Development Centres.
