Course Overview
This master class introduces educators, facilitators, and trainers to the foundational principles and practices of experiential learning. Grounded in Colin Beard’s Experiential Learning Theory and the 7 Modes of Learning, the course helps participants explore how to create learner-centred, engaging, and purposeful learning experiences. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, peer collaboration, and reflection to design experiences aligned with their professional contexts.
- Understand key theories and models of experiential learning, including Beard's framework
- Apply the 7 Modes of Learning in designing learning experiences
- Identify participants' needs and craft purposeful learning journeys
- Facilitate reflection and meaning-making in learning
- Plan and design experiential learning sessions that align with learning outcomes
Certification
Participants who meet at least 75% of the required course attendance and pass the assessment will be awarded the Certificate of Completion.
