Law UK Study Trip
55 LAW students and 4 LAW lecturers embarked on an enriching UK Study Trip, visiting key legal landmarks such as the Inns of Court, the Royal Courts of Justice and the Houses of Parliament. The group also toured the Law faculties of leading universities including Bristol, Birmingham and Warwick, engaging with professors, alumni and students. A key highlight was the visit to international law firm Clifford Chance, where students gained insights into the firm’s legal tech initiatives and the evolving future of legal practice.
Global Stage, Real-world Pitch
Back for the second time, our four Diploma in Communications & Media Management seniors didn't just study – they solved a real business problem for Seibert Media, culminating in a high-stakes pitch to the client and academics! The two-week overseas immersion programme at RheinMain University, Germany, in Aug 2025 wrapped up with an intensive "Future Leaders" programme, ensuring our students returned not just with global networks, but with enhanced professional leadership skills.
BUS x ITL OST to China (Beijing and Tianjin)
The School of Business organised an 8D7N Overseas Study Trip (OST) from 8 –15 October 2025 to Pinggu District, Beijing, and Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, China, for 60 students and 4 accompanying staff from the Diploma in Business, and the Diploma in International Trade & Logistics. The trip, supported by the Ngee Ann Kongsi Global Award Fund, provided students with hands-on exposure to e-commerce, logistics, sustainability, and smart manufacturing ecosystems through visits to leading organisations such as Lenovo, Cainiao, and Tianjin Eco-City. Students also gained valuable cultural insights through visits to historical and scenic sites, deepening their global outlook and understanding of China’s economic and sustainability landscape.
HTM x CCM Overseas Study Trip to Italy
Students from the Hospitality & Tourism Management and Culinary & Catering Management programmes embarked on a study trip to Italy, where they explored the country’s rich hospitality, culinary, and agri-food landscape. Their itinerary included industry visits to Granarolo, Acetaia Giusti, The Social Hub, and the Professional Culinary Institute IPSAR “Luigi Veronelli,” offering firsthand insights into Italian hospitality expertise and innovation. Complementing these visits were hands-on learning experiences such as an Italian language crash course, a pasta-making workshop, and cultural activities including Bologna’s “Seven Secrets,” local food markets, and a full-day guided tour of Florence. The trip provided invaluable global exposure, deepened cultural understanding, and strengthened students’ readiness for future international careers.
