Course Overview
Step into CMM, where you’ll learn to craft stories that don’t just look good - they work. From day one you’ll hone journalistic writing and content creation chops, then level up with AI in the workflow so your ideas move faster and smarter. You’ll build a portfolio with impact: shoot videos, record podcasts, host livestreams, create social media campaigns and publish original reporting for real audiences, on campus platforms such as our news portal Stories & Co. Or join our content creation club, where you’ll collaborate with peers and produce editorial and edutainment content for different channels.
Creativity alone is not enough. You’ll also pick up the soft-power skills necessary for your stories to land: presence, persuasion, teamwork, client-savviness. We pair storytelling with business acumen – data analytics, audience insight, strategy – so you can explain why an idea works, not just how to make it.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for consideration for admission, applicants must obtain 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English Language, 2 relevant subjects and best 2 other subjects, including CCA Bonus Points) and meet the minimum entry requirements of this course. CCA cannot be used to meet the minimum entry requirements.

Level up your global exposure with short, focused overseas programmes with our university partners. You could find yourself in Germany for a 2-week exchange at Hochschule RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (HSRM) “International Summer School” with its Media Management bachelor’s course or embark on an exchange programme with University of Western Australia (UWA). You’ll collaborate with international peers, explore media practices in new markets, and return with fresh ideas – and portfolio pieces – that set you apart.
From day one, you’ll work on brand briefs and collaborate with industry partners – pitching ideas, producing content, and presenting to real clients. You’ll also meet newsmakers and create original interviews, from Singapore’s Olympic champion Max Maeder to singer-songwriter Elijah Woods. It’s hands-on, practical learning that builds confidence, credibility, professionalism.
As part of their Major Project in collaboration with Singapore Press Holdings, students from the Class of 2025 developed a social media campaign for The Straits Times' (ST) Gen Z-focused publication, TL;DR. The campaign, aimed at helping youths navigate their way around the complexities of adulthood, comprised videos, comics, and articles. Their work, lauded by the client as being entertaining and informative, was subsequently published on the ST TL;DR Instagram account as well as on ST website.
