This guidebook explains what grit is, the benefits of grit, how grit is incorporated into the Primary 2 curriculum as well as consists of an implementation timeline. Refer to Figure 4 for a snippet of the implementation timeline. Figure 4. Implementation Timeline2) FTGP Guidebook Helps teachers to facilitate both the introductory lesson and the 12 modified FTGP lessons with ease. The introductory lesson is to be conducted before any other supplementary lesson and it consists of a recap on growth mindset (GMS) (Figure 5), a brief summary of the relationship of GMS and grit and a story to introduce the grit attributes (Figure 6).
