b'Development of Growth Mindset Resources for Early Childhood Educators FindingsBased on the research on the current preschool curriculum in Singapore, it was found that there is a major disparity between the teaching curriculum of MOE and Non-MOE preschools, where MOE preschools are provided with structured and standardized resources that teach children socioemotional skills while Non-MOE preschools are not. Instead, Non-MOE preschools are given the flexibility to create their own resources to teach these socioemotional skills (Figure 2).The interview responses also suggested that preschool educators are aware of the term Growth Mindset but are unsure of its implications or how to apply it into the preschool curriculum effectively. This is because although the NEL framework touches on socioemotional learning which is consistent with some attributes of Growth Mindset, the concept of Growth Mindset is not explored in depth within this framework. However, the preschool educators collectively agreed that it is still important to cultivate and incorporate Growth Mindset into the preschool curriculum and are eager to learn how to do so.Preschool educators also shared that praise-giving and feedback-giving are currently being incorporated to a certain extent in the preschool curriculum. However, they mentioned that they are unsure of the importance of it or how to properly give praise and feedback such that it encourages the development of Growth Mindset in preschool Children (Figure 3). On top of that, the Preschool principals also shared examples of ways Growth Mindset attributes can be integrated into the curriculum (Figure 4) and mentioned that storybooks with illustrations could be used to easily depict teachable concepts.7TH PSYCHOLOGY STUDIES 78STUDENT CONFERENCE 2021'
