b'USE OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY IN DASInterview results also showed that ETs felt supported by their environment and organisation. This is especially due to the efforts and initiatives carried out by DAS to increase EduTech use among ETs and also due to the support derived from their colleagues. ETs who were not as tech-savvy mentioned that they received a lot of guidance and were motivated by their colleagues who were more well-informed on EduTech use.SolutionsBuddy System Based on results from the survey, a pairing buddy system is proposed where ETs from the Low and Medium advocacy group will be paired with those from the High advocacy category. Buddy systems have been found to foster professional development in teachers by giving less-experienced teachers (i.e., our ETs) opportunities for active learning and feedback. Aside from observing the practices of better experienced teachers and working with them, lower quality EduTech ETs are also given the chance to clarify their doubts and receive instantaneous feedback on EduTech use. Furthermore, it alleviates strain on the EduTech team by ensuring the team is not overloaded with requests for help. Professional and personal relationships between the partners and educators are also fostered. Improving organisational cultureOrganisational culture (and support) plays an effective role in encouraging the use of educational technology. Organisational culture comprises six unique dimensions: goal orientation, innovation orientation, leadership, participative decision making, formal relationships, and a shared vision. Goal orientation involves having clear and focused (teaching) goals shared among the members (e.g., goal to increase EduTech usage by 20% in the classroom). Innovation orientation refers to the openness to change. In our context, this refers to the use and acceptance of educational technology. Leadership is influenced by the extent to which the individual perceives their leader as someone who is directive and organises the matter in question effectively. 7TH PSYCHOLOGY STUDIES 9STUDENT CONFERENCE 2021'
