Overview

With a scenic view of the Bedok Reservoir, this 2-storey facility is managed by CANS under the School of Applied Science.  This learning enterprise is a training venue for students from the Diploma in Food, Nutrition and Culinary Science to undergo work-based learning of the daily operations at Bistro Lab to enrich and better relate their learning experience.

 

At a glance, the cafeteria is just like any other offering an array of menu items to satisfy the palates of the millennials.  However, it’s a test-bedding ground for staff and students to explore new food concepts and ingredient applications along with their industry partners.  Analyzing the foods offered, customers may be able to notice the use of functional ingredients and foods that are specially put together for that healthful touch. 

 

The facility also houses the staff lounge, Cu2+, a dining space above the Bistro Lab for staff and their guests to dine in.
