The first part, “Environmental Analysis”, will equip students with current trends in the environment. These trends may include (but does not have to be restricted to) the rise of India and China, globalisation of businesses, aging population, changing role of women in society, social media, mobile commerce, corporate social responsibility etc.
In the second part, “Introduction to Law”, students will be given an introduction to the law that is needed in order to be acquainted with the business environment. These include an overview of the legal system and legislation, business entities, contract law and negligence.

Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded a Statement of Result which can count towards the attainment of the Diploma in Business Practice (Business Administration).
