Modes of Assessment
1. Class Test
A class test will be conducted to assess the student's theoretical understanding of the concepts taught.
The project will require students to work in groups and individually to integrate the computer hardware/software, operating systems, network and security and design a client platform for an organisation. The deliverables will include a report, presentation and a demonstration of the design.
The assignment will be used to assess students’ ability to apply concepts and knowledge to solve IT problems in an organisation. Students will work in groups and are expected to demonstrate good teamwork skills. Students will be assessed through their reports and presentation of their findings and proposed solutions.
Upon successful completion of the modular unit, students will be awarded a Statement of Result, which can count towards the attainment of the Diploma in Infocomm and Digital Media (ICT Systems, Services & Support).
