Course Overview

This course will give participants a basic understanding on the importance of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and guide participants through the steps of carrying out TNA in their workplace.

Who Should Attend

Participants who needs to conduct training needs analysis to help their organisations achieve their goals and objectives. No formal prerequisites required although a background or interest in training and learning will be very helpful.

What You'll Learn

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

 

  1. Recognize the scope and requirements of a Training Needs Analysis to meet client's needs.
  2. Select the appropriate data collection methods for Training Needs Analysis.
  3. Select the appropriate data analysis methods to analyse the collected data for Training Needs Analysis.

 

Mode of Assessment

Tests / Quizzes – assess participants’ understanding of key concepts and application of concepts learnt for each topic.

Group discussion/sharing – allows participants’ to reflect, share and apply what they have learnt and participate actively in discussions.

Certification

Participants will receive an electronic Certificate of Completion issued by Temasek Polytechnic upon completion of each MLC.
