What You'll Learn

You will learn to evaluate and optimise several different supervised learning algorithms to determine which algorithm will provide the highest yield while under some marketing constraints. 

 

You need to be familiar with the following: 

 

  • Programming Experience with Python, Knowledge of data structures
  • Experience with libraries like Numpy and Pandas
  • Basic knowledge of statistics (probability of an event, descriptive statistics), etc.

 

This is a 100% e-learning, self-paced and self-directed course that runs on a PC/Laptop's web browser.

 

Depending on your experience and prior knowledge, you may spend up to 15 hours per week to finish this 1-month course.

Project Brief

In the project, a fictitious charity organisation located in Silicon Valley was established to provide financial support for people eager to learn machine learning. To expand the potential donor base, the charity has decided to send letters to residents of California, but only to those most likely to donate to the charity.  You are to determine the algorithm that will provide the highest yield with constraints for the charity.

 

 

Certification

 

Learners will be awarded the Advanced Course certification on passing a project within the 1-month course duration.
