Jointly delivered by Temasek Polytechnic and Singapore Management University (SMU) Academy, this programme is designed to supplement your technology skills with marketing & innovation as well as business development strategies in the classroom, with mentorship provided by corporate partners.

In this course, you will learn to execute and evaluate digital marketing campaigns and develop digital content. You will also learn to develop sound business proposals and hone your skills in marketing digital solutions.

At the end of the course, you will emerge a future-ready talent equipped with the relevant skills to leverage technology in sales and marketing and business development for technology products and services.

Graduates can look forward to career opportunities as digital marketing executives, business development executives or customer-facing technologists.

Jointly offered by Temasek Polytechnic and SMU Academy. This course provides students with the opportunity to experience different methodologies across two institutions.

Entry Requirements

The minimum admission requirement is a Polytechnic Diploma.

Holders of other equivalent academic qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.

What You'll Learn

To be awarded the Specialist Diploma, participants are required to complete a total of 2 Post-Diploma Certificates (PDCs). A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of each PDC.

	BCBT013	Strategy in Technology Business This subject builds on the fundamental knowledge of digital marketing to focus on the implementation of a technology business’s digital strategy with particular emphasis on digital content management, search engine marketing, social media marketing and optimizing digital marketing campaign performance with analytics. Leveraging on their existing technical background, students will acquire practical skills in implementing solutions for publishing digital contents, executing digital marketing campaigns and performing marketing analytics.
	BCBT014	Business Development and Implementation This subject focuses on the implementation of go-to-market and pre-sales strategies of technology products and services. Students will acquire an understanding of building and managing the business development pipeline, identify and analyse market needs, develop business opportunities and lead the sales cycle. Leverage on their existing technical background, students will acquire the skills in lead qualification, responding to Request-for-proposals and to present, demonstrate and propose solutions. Topics on proof-of-concept development, negotiation and post-sales support will also be discussed.

Course fees will be reviewed by MOE on an annual basis and adjusted accordingly.
