Mr Geoffrey Tai Pui Ho
Geoffrey Tai Pui Ho is a Manager of the School of Business at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore. He is also an adjunct faculty with the Culinary Institute of America. He graduated from Swiss Hotel Management School Les Roches and holds a Le Cordon Bleu Master of Business Administration in International Hotel and Resort Management from the University of South Australia in Adelaide. He received his professional certificate in Restaurant Revenue Management from Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management, Singapore. He has also been awarded the Master Certificate in Revenue Management by Cornell University.
Geoffrey served under various hotel management companies in Rooms Division and F&B operations. His work experience covers well-known properties such as The Regent Hong Kong, The Regent Beverly Wilshire Los Angeles, The Fullerton Singapore, The Regent Singapore, InterContinental Singapore, The Crowne Plaza Shanghai, China, Hotel Victoria Switzerland and The Hilton Adelaide, Australia. After a rewarding experience in the F&B operations and hotel management, Geoffrey began teaching and consulting in hospitality & business revenue management related courses at Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore. He has been awarded Teaching Excellence Award so as to recognise his teaching excellence, commitment and dedication.
Geoffrey has authored a textbook, titled Revenue Management for the Food & Beverage Industry. His current research interests include business revenue optimization, social media marketing and managing restaurants with pricing. He is a member of the Food & Beverage Management Association in Singapore. He is also a WDA master trainer in the area of revenue management as well as a guest speaker at the Food & Hotel Asia.
As part of the vibrant and dynamic community of Adult Education Professionals (AEP), Geoffrey plays a very significant role in raising the quality of Continuing Education and Training (CET) by providing extensive training & consultancy services to local and regional SMEs in the area of productivity & revenue optimization.
