Mr Adler Poh
Managing Director and Founder
Adler Hostel

Mr Adler Poh graduated with a Hospitality and Tourism Management diploma from Temasek Polytechnic in 2009.    Having grown up in a family of entrepreneurs, Adler was always inspired by his grandfather and father. As such, he always had a natural gravitation towards entrepreneurship as a future career for him.

We have all heard of luxury hotels and luxury service apartments.  How about luxury hostel? It is a rather new and interesting concept or term in the hospitality industry especially for Singapore.  Merging the comforts that one experiences staying in a hotel with the social and economic benefits of a hostel, the luxury hostel is born.  Adler Hostel is Singapore’s first ever luxury hostel established in December 2012 and located in the historical district of Chinatown.

In Temasek Polytechnic, Adler shaped his crafts under the tutelage of the experienced veterans in the hospitality industry. He snatched at the chance to intern at Cathay Pacific Airways, one of the Top 5 airlines in the world, where he was exposed to crisis management, following the Bangkok Riots.

Armed with unwavering positive attitude and his never-ending passion, Adler Hostel won respect and high compliments from its guests.  Local and international media also took notice of Adler Hostel and put Adler Hostel firmly on the world map.

Refusing to rest on his laurels and encouraged by the success of Adler Hostel, Adler introduced Istana Signature Cabins, the largest of its class in Singapore for the couple and family segment and Ivory Signature Cabins, first of its kind in Singapore, exclusively for ladies.
