Temasek Polytechnic (TP) School of Design recognises that continual learning is a critical component in the development of a designer. In forging ahead in design education, TP's School of Design has equipped itself with the newest technologies and facilities to immerse our students into an environment that is conducive for learning and one that is on par with industry standards.
Students work in facilities such as natural light-filled loft studios, HD post-production rooms, audio post-production labs, TV studio, digital photography studio, tactile design rooms, sewing labs, lighting lab and exhibition galleries. They are also given access to the comprehensive workshop equipped with machines that facilitate the production of prototypes, from architectural models to furniture. Among our modern facilities are also training rooms designed specifically for corporate training and professional development.
In the context of digital mobility and connectivity, students are encouraged to work outside the classroom in the many gathering spaces available in the School of Design, such as the iconic ‘Padi fields’.
They are the living assets of a great design institution: the professionals who have built their reputations on achievements, and whose uncompromising standards continue to raise the bar.
Together, they form a powerful resource of diverse talents at Temasek Design School.
It is their unwavering commitment to the highest ideals that place Temasek Design School in the leader class, year after year.
Meet the accomplished professionals who are cultivating the next generation of world-class designers in Singapore.

Mrs Fong Loo Fern
Managing Director, CYC Shanghai Shirt Co. Pte. Ltd.
"I have been tremendously impressed with the attitude, vigour, intelligence and manner of the highly committed team of Teachers, Lecturers, Management and Associated Participants in this energetic school of creative learning. The school's facilities are second to none that I have seen, experienced or heard of, a truly inspiring place which fosters a strong community (campus) spirit. Overlaying these attributes and benefits, is the care, thought and critical consideration given to the curriculum. This issue — so important to the process of learning, is under constant scrutiny and the school actively engages the private sector to contribute their ideas, thoughts and constructive criticism."
Mr Derek MacKenzie
Partner, designphase Pte Ltd.
