Artificial Intelligence (AI) is permeating every sector of our life. It is used in search engines that push personalised information to us. It is used on our phones for facial recognition. It influences what we see and buy online, and how we handle financial transactions. It impacts every sector of industry from transport to healthcare. Artificial Intelligence is causing job disruptions and challenging us to re-consider how we conduct business operations. As companies advance to embrace AI, there is a surging demand for professionals with the skills and experience to support businesses. This course will help you acquire these skills, including how to use machine learning and deep learning algorithms to create solutions.

Application/Entry Requirement
The minimum entry requirement is at least a Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma/Technical Engineer Diploma/Work-Learn Technical Diploma in a technology or IT-related course, or equivalent.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.

This subject enables students to build new and enhance existing solutions development through the application of deep learning algorithms. |

Career Opportunities
At the entry level, the job positions are Application Developers. Upon completing the course, graduates can look forward to role expansion in their work scope. They can also look forward to upgrading their knowledge and skills through further CET and executive programmes offered by local Institutes of Higher Learning.
