Course Overview

This course introduces participants to the role of information and technology in the supply chain and highlight the key information issues and tools that drive supply chain success. Participants will also be introduced to the increasing concerns about risk to supply chains.

Lecturer/Trainer Profile

Tan Hui Kuang

Tan Hui Kuang is a Senior Lecturer from the Business Process and Systems Engineering diploma which combines engineering disciplines with business management principles in its curriculum. He holds a Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical) from National University of Singapore and a Master in Business Administration from Brunel University. He started his career in Defence Science Organisation as a Research Engineer in the Artificial Intelligence Lab. He then joined Neptune Orient Lines in an IT management role in their World-Wide Logistics Division before joining Temasek Polytechnic.
